The Spore Cloud From Planet M-67 is not the only spore
cloud, but is the only one to have visited our solar system [that it
knows of]. Its planet is located in a dimension adjacent to this one.
In fact, the actual travel distance between
M-67 and Earth is not great
at all.
UDR: Elaborate further on the Spore Cloud's objective. What
motivates SC?
SC: I am presently on a reconnaissance mission that was launched a couple
of [earth] decades ago. Until given further instructions I will proceed
on said mission. I guess you could say I am a scout [but I wouldn't].
Believe it or not, your astronauts and various space agencies discovered
me on the moon some years ago but only recognized me as a pink mist.
I'm sure they must the reports and transmissions in their archives.
UDR: Talk about the SC's process of creating sounds.
Does the SC consider its sonic leavings to be music?
SC: Here is my "Now It Can Be Told" moment. Previously I had
stated that the sound of Spore Cloud was the audiological byproduct of
digestion. This statement was/is a blatant act of disinformation on my
part. Some years ago [must have been the early 70's] M-67 and likewise
M-68 began receiving transmissions from NASA satellites. Not a big deal
really because we get them all the time [not only from Earth]. What made
those new transmissions different
was that they coincided with the launch
of Skylab in 1973. I would elaborate but I might harm certain parties
if I do. Let's just say the launch of Skylab may have everything to do
with the sound[s] I create. Whether or not I consider my sounds to music
I cannot say...I will say however that NASA's claim that Skylab disintegrated
in '79 is bunk.
UDR: Why is the presence of Spore Clouds considered classified?
SC: The answer should not come as much of a shock. Spore Clouds are not
only intelligent beings but are extraterrestrial in nature. Therefore,
it stands to reason that the Clouds pose a general threat not only to
your planet but to the earthling way of life as well. Knowledge of my
presence on a large scale will throw all first-world power structures
into question and will reposition humanity onto a much lower rung of
the intergalactic evolutionary ladder.
UDR: What does the government have to gain by witholding
information/music from the public?
SC: Time. The longer they can convince themselves of their weak grasp
on this planet the longer they think they are in control of your solar
system. One way in which they typically go about this is by controlling
information. Music [as you call it] is a more universal type of information
and can therefore be seen as among the most dangerous of all threats
especially in regards to the communicative barriers it lowers between
beings of opposing origins.
UDR: Why would earthlings deliberately mislead each other
by spreading mis/dis-information?
SC: Humans 'in the know' are quite aware of the undeniable truth
and are bent on disallowing knowledge of the Clouds. To elaborate further
on my previous statement, knowledge of my race being here on this planet
will cause the whole of humanity to tear down the power structures that
have mislead them. There will be a brief period of anarchy, you see,
but eventually the peoples of Earth will re-coagulate on a much more
even plane in relation to not only one another but also the other planets/beings
that will then make their presence known to Earth.
UDR: Would popular knowledge of Spore Clouds worldwide compromise
your original mission objectives?
SC: Yes and no... In one way, reconnaissance missions are heavily dependent
on anonymity but on the other hand, if my overall mission is to send/receive
knowledge of human nature what better way can there be to achieve that
goal than to allow my presence to known on a mass scale? It is indeed
an interesting dilemma...
UDR: By now, Earthlings must have indirectly beamed a great deal of radio and TV signals throughout the universe. What sort of earth signals are you listening for? Are there certain periods of earth history that interest you more than others?
SC: In all honesty, M-67 resides in a different dimension from Earth.
My race has the technology to slip easily between them but any signals
you have sent do not. As far as Earth history goes I refrain to answer
because of certain truths about Earth's time cycles that I'm not entirely
sure it's my place to reveal... (At this time anyway).
UDR: You may be familiar with the Wow! Signal... was this signal the result of interference from Spore Cloud activities?
SC: As far as I have been told, No. The Clouds are but one race
from one planet in an innumerably vast inter-dimensional universe.
This is to say that I (regrettably ) do not have all the answers.
Personally I think if the signal did originate from an intelligent
source then it can be chalked up to a type of interstellar doorbell
ditch.
UDR: The Spore Cloud (music) sounds very similar to contemporary
sample-driven earth music. Is this merely a coincidence or just
another by-product of Spore Cloud digestion? What came first? sampling?
or the Spore Cloud?
SC: The fact that my music reminds you of your earth music is three parts coincidence,
byproduct and engineering. In the simplest terms, we know what earthlings will
listen to and what they won't. To the second question: Given only two choices
I have to say Spore Clouds but it's unclear what aims are loaded into your wording.
UDR: My only aim is to get information, just like you. I am gathering ideas from the music community so that I, and others, can study them.
SC: And I commend you for it. Good information has the potential to save Earth from Earthlings.
UDR: Do Spore Clouds understand "fun"?
What do you do when you're not excreting?
SC: Um, not precisely. We understand "funny." For example, ESP {Smudge} is essentially an inside joke about Earth and cyclical time theory which I find hilarious. Quite a few of my songs are like that I guess. Say what you want about the dietary practices of my species but my aim is to simply create sounds that may {if only for an instant} seduce and paralyze your species.
UDR: Is there anything you would like to talk about? Anything you
would like to say to the earthlings out there listening in?
SC: To all Earthlings, now it can be told: You forgot to carry
and the 1 and all that. Go back and check your math.
UDR: Can you talk about upcoming (missions) from Spore Cloud? When
are you likely to excrete more (music)?
SC: At the present I have begun a type of hybridization experiment.
Some weeks back a collection of spores had broken formation from
my main body and reaccumulated into a separate entity. This new
group infected the carcass of a dead human named Leland P. Spunkmeyer
{he had a name tag, apparently}. The spores entered his various
cavities and the dead body sprang to life {if you could call it
that}. The occurrence of this phenomenon had me interested and
so I have allowed his existence to flourish so that I can determine
what the end result of his reanimation will ultimately be. As far
as my music is concerned I will always be creating it as long as
I am here.
